Disney Legends featured her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose is most well-known for her role as Lorrell Robinson, the character from Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose is an American performer, songwriter and actress. She was best known for her character Tiana, the Disney Princess, who was the first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legends featured her as one of them in 2011. Her other starring role, as Lorrell Robinson, as Lorrell Robinson, in Dreamgirls (2007) that was nominated for an Academy Award. And she performs the role of LaVerne Jukebox Ganner on the show Starz's Power. Her name has been praised by her stage performances which include her lead roles on the stage in Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway where she received the Tony Award was won for Best actor in the Musical.
